Welcome to CES Reflections
August 8, 2024
As a team, we have decided to create this blog to give us the opportunity to share with our clients who we truly are and what we do on a more in-depth, personal level.
When working side-by-side with our clients, we are entrusted with their hopes, dreams, and aspirations for their community and how they envision tourism being developed in a responsible, sustainable way that prioritizes what they value most: their people, their culture and language, and the land. These relationships would not be possible without the strong foundation of mutual trust and respect built between ourselves and the communities we work with. This is why we want to provide this blog as a space for our clients, and potential clients, to get to know us as individuals, and as a team, so that they can know us as well as we know them. Through these Reflections, we hope to demonstrate our values, intentions, and that regardless of the project, we always strive to keep each community’s best interests at heart.
We also intend this space to be used as a transfer of knowledge, to share what we have learned throughout our years of collaborating with communities and other industry partners. Highlighting on-site visits, past projects, milestone achievements, and successes of our clients can all be used as best practices for Indigenous tourism development, with the potential to connect different communities, and to generate ideas for different, innovative approaches for organic, grassroots tourism development.
Thank you for taking the time to connect with us through CES Reflections, we hope you enjoy what we have to share. If you’d like to be kept updated, you can follow us at our social media accounts and subscribe to our newsletter to be updated when a new reflection is posted.
If you feel interested or inspired by anything we write about, it would be amazing to hear from you; feel free to reach out to us at info@canadianeco.com at any time.
