Six Nations Tourism 10-Year Strategy

Building upon the strong foundation that Six Nations Tourism has built as the community’s destination marketing organization, CES collaborated to provide renewed direction and a streamlined focus for the organization to fulfil its role as the unifying body that connects Six Nations’ tourism assets, its visitors, and most importantly its local people. With the foundational knowledge gleaned from a community-wide engagement process and enhanced by strategic visioning and research, CES was able to put the pieces together to craft an all-inclusive strategy that sets direction for the entire destination over the next 10 years.

As the most populated First Nation in Canada, Six Nations has an abundance of diverse tourism stakeholders, individuals who are part of the local industry, and tourism partners. This strategy provided a roadmap for bringing all these entities and individuals together in the spirit of unity, collaboration, and cohesion. The 10-year strategy is structured around Six Nations Tourism’s newly defined organizational guiding forces which nurture its ambition to create enduring and deep-rooted benefits for the community through tourism.
